Create your account and sign in

Your account is where everything lives: the people you add, their calls, and their stories. There is no password to remember: each time you sign in, a one-time code is sent to you.

Create your account

1. Open the Companion Calls website. You will land on the Sign in to Companion Calls page.

2. Under the sign-in box, next to Don’t have an account?, select Sign up.

3. On Create your account, enter your Email address. Your mobile Phone number is optional: add it if you'd like to sign in with a text message later. Then select Continue.

4. You will be sent a six-digit code by email. Type it in when asked. If you added a phone number, a second code comes by text message.

Tip: If a code doesn't arrive within a minute or two, check your spam or junk folder for the email, then ask for a new code.

Name your family

The first time you sign in, choose a family you have been invited to or create your own. If you create one, a name based on yours is suggested. The name can come up when Rosie introduces a call, so choose one the person you are adding would recognize.

1. Type a Family name, such as "Mitchell".
2. Select Create family.

You will then see the empty list of people, ready for you to add the first one. Next: Add a participant.

Sign back in

1. Open the Companion Calls website.
2. Enter your Email address and select Continue.
3. Type the code from your email.

If you added a phone number, you can select Use phone to get the code by text message instead. You stay signed in on that device until you sign out.

Good to know

Can I use a different email later? Yes. Select your account picture at the top right of the page to manage your email address and sign out.

Can someone else in the family sign in to my account? Each person should use their own sign-in. The person you add can have their own sign-in to see their own calls and stories.
